A Huge Value for Aspiring Bloggers

According to one source, the average professional blogger earns 138K USD per year.  If you google "State of the Blogosphere", you will find that the vast majority of bloggers earn almost nothing, but about 4%, the 'pros', earn more than 80,000USD per year and several earn over 2,000,000USD.  You will also discover that professional bloggers spend about 20 hours per week blogging.  In other words, if you get get into that 4% professional blogger category, you can reasonably earn six figure USD with a part time effort.  This makes blogging a perfect base for building an affluent time and geography flexible career.

You will also find that bloggers' two biggest complaints are difficulty in traffic acquisition and monetization.  In fact, the primary impediments to success are these two issues, not the quality of the articles.  The blogosphere is full of great articles that get few readers and little or no income from the few readers they do attract.  For bloggers who are writing for the top 5% of the population in intellectual sophistication, the Leonardo Blogger Network will solve these problems and will do so at a very high value.

As a Leonardo blogger, you will be required to bring 1,000 initial subscribers to the process.  You provide virality to the Network and in return you get substantial virality.  Through social media, SEO, etc. it is assumed that your 1,000 subscribers will create1,000 viral reads for a total of 2,000 self generated reads.  However, the average blog article will be republished in four other newsletters.  That will create about a 3X increase in virality, initially to about 6,000.  These viral reads, at your standard 0.5% subscription rate, will create 7,000X0.5%=35 new subscriptions for a weekly growth rate of 1+35/1,000=1.035.  Assuming that your subscribing bloggers experience the same growth rate, by the end of the first year of full operation, you will have 1,000X1.035^52=5,980 or an increase of about 5,000.  Typically, the cost of acquisition for newletter subscribers is about $2.00, so this is a 10,000USD value.

The number of first year additional reads caused by Leonardo participation will be about ((6,000+30,000)/2)X52=936,000.  At a cost of 0.20USD per read, that is an additional value of 187,200USD for the first year.

So, for a cost of $300 per year, a Leonardo blogger will receive a value of nearly 200,000USD.  First year income should be about ((8,000+32,000)/2)= 20K and at 8USD CPM and 8 ads per article, first year income is projected at 20X8X8X52=65,600USD.  This relationship, 200KUSD investment to create a 65,600USD blog income is why 96% of bloggers give up without ever making significant income.  However, a $300 investment is very, very reasonable.  There is some sweat equity, especially for our founding members.  But, the triple feedback loop of the Leonardo Blogger Network means that the frustration of trying to create a professional blog is eliminated.
